  People criticizing
What's the meaning of my name? My name have just one important meaning. When I born my mother decide to call me Candida. Why Candida? Candida is the name of my great-grandmother, Candida. My mother choose this name because she began to have contractions in the pregnancy. Then, like every Mexican mother, she entrusted herself to my great-grandmother, so that I would be born well.
Second, I don’t like my name because people sometimes think that is ugly. Also because there is a disease with that name and people usually laugh about it. When I was in high school my friends made me bullying for that. That's why I prefer to be called Candi.
Finally, My name also has the name of the candies. Sometimes people call me Dulce, which is something I hate. Here in the United States when I say my name to people, they write it as Candy but my name is not written with "Y" but with "i" and that makes me feel annoyed.
If I could change my name, maybe I would. Although times change and there are not many people who call themselves Candida.
