Expectation

      Nowadays, many people think a name is a wish for expectation of their children. Therefore, most parents would choose a name for children with a good meaning. I never asked my parents what the meaning behind my name is. In Chinese, there are so many meanings that can reflect my name. For example, it can relate to my relatives. In my hometown, Wei is a very common character as peoples’ first name. In addition, I think the first character of my first name means the greatest and successful. The second character means be patient or try hard to do something. As a result, the meaning of my name should be if I paid a lot of effort to everything, I could be a successful person. Also, another meaning is never do things by halves. It is an old saying and keep reminding me do not give up when I am in adversity. I admire people who are achieved their goals because I want to achieve my parent’s wish which is work hard and become a successful person.
